Shaw & Nebraska Furniture Mart Open New Anso Gallery in Dallas

Dallas, TX, July 29, 2026—Shaw Industries and Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) cut the ribbon on Anso Gallery in Dallas, Texas.

The Anso Gallery is a branded “showroom within a showroom,” developed jointly by NFM and Shaw Industries to make residential carpet shopping more attractive and less confusing.

The Dallas store, which opened 12 years ago, is NFM’s largest. The company’s estimated sales are $178 million.

It features a curated assortment of Shaw carpet made with Anso high-performance nylon, including Shaw Pet Perfect products, Anderson Tuftex styles as well as large samples, upgraded lighting and coordinated displays. 

NFM opened the first Anso Gallery at its Omaha flagship in August 2022. It occupied roughly half of the store’s carpet department and originally displayed about 96 styles. 

A second, approximately 2,000-square-foot gallery opened at NFM’s Kansas City store in May 2025; it was about 25% larger than Omaha’s. NFM has discussed adding the concept in Dallas, while the Austin store, slated for 2027, is also expected to feature one. 

Strategically, it is more than a display system: it gives Shaw a dominant branded destination inside one of the country’s largest flooring retailers, while giving NFM a simpler and more upscale way to sell carpet. 

Dave Chambers, director of flooring for NFM, reported that the Omaha gallery remained exceptionally successful after two-and-a-half years and posted double-digit growth during the first four months of 2025. He also said carpet was outperforming hard surface in NFM’s year-over-year comparisons.

Both Shaw and Nebraska Furniture Mart are owned by Berkshire Hathaway.
