Selit North America Announces Shift in Ownership

Commerce, GA, July 1, 2026—Selit North America, a leading producer of attached pad in North America, has announced a change in its ownership structure that the company says will support its next phase of growth while maintaining continuity for customers, employees and business partners.

As part of the transition, co-founder Marco Seitner is transferring his ownership interest in the company. His stake will be assumed by Marc and Udo Schlueter, members of the Schlueter family and second-generation owners of Schlüter Systems, who will join Rouven Seitner as owners of Selit North America.

The company said the Schlueter family has been a longtime partner through its foam production relationship with Selit North America. That partnership dates back to the company’s early years and has supported its manufacturing operations in North America.

Marco Seitner launched Selit’s U.S. business from Europe in 2006 and, together with his brother Rouven, co-founded Selit North America in 2009. The company established its first North American production facility in Plattsburgh, New York, in 2010 before opening its XPS foam sheet manufacturing plant in Commerce, Georgia, in 2019.

Today, Selit North America manufactures foam underlayments for floating floors and serves customers across North America from its Commerce facility. The company also cited its longstanding partnership with Pak-Lite in Commerce as an important part of its manufacturing platform.

“I look back with great pride and deep satisfaction on what we have built together over the past two decades,” Marco Seitner said. “I am confident that, with the Schlueter family as Rouven’s new partner, the company has a bright future ahead of it.”

Nicolas Gevaert will continue as chief executive officer, while Rouven Seitner will remain a shareholder and member of the board of directors. Marco Seitner will also remain on the board during the transition period to help ensure an orderly handoff.
