Välinge Signs Kährs for New Locking Technology

Viken, Sweden, June 23, 2009–Välinge has signed Kährs as the first hardwood firm to use Välinge’s 5G-S technology .

Välinge and Kährs have signed a global license agreement which gives Kährs the right to produce and sell wood floor utilizing Välinge’s new fold down locking system combined with a wood based tongue.

Kährs began using Välinge technology in 1999.

Välinge’s 5G-S fold down system, based on the side-push technology has been adjusted for Kährs to fit its environmental strategy and utilizes a displaceable wood based tongue that is pushed into locked position.
