Dalton, GA, Aug. 14, 2008—Mohawk Industries will raise prices on ceramic and laminate products, effective Sept. 8.
Ceramic prices will increase 4-10 percent, while laminate prices will rise 5 percent. A letter announcing the price increases has been sent to Mohawk dealers.
“Our increase reflects higher prices for raw materials, transportation, and energy,” said Bob Leahy, senior vice president of hard surfaces.
