Johnsonite Intros Modular Rubber Tile

Chagrin Falls, OH, April 3, 2007–Johnsonite has introduces Circulinity a collection of textured rubber tile patterns that can be used together in creating a limitless number of unique interior environments.

Designing rubber floor tile patterns has never been so imaginative with Circulinty, a specially designed component rubber tile system that provides limitless numbers of floor pattern options. Johnsonite’s new concept for rubber tiles makes custom flooring design a standard method of operation, without any additional cost. Johnsonite provides you with the coordinated patterns and you deliver your customer with a truly unique floor design.

Circulinity consists of five different, but coordinated patterns that work with each other or alone. Your uniquely fashioned blueprint can have tiles run in any direction to convey the special effects you get with the distinctive light refraction built in to each pattern.  Circulinity’s 24” x 24” size is compatible with other Roundel Rubber Tile textures. Even designs such as Hammered, Flagstone, Weathered and Smooth can be combined with Circulinity for yet more dramatic effects. Below are the five patterns in the Circulinity line, all of which are now available:

• Fast Lane – various shaped parallel lines fashioned to symbolize a big city freeway

• Round-a-Bout – Depth is added to the equation as one large circle is characterized with a vertical line projected through it

• Tricycle – three random circles are present with a single line dramatically expanding the texture

• Tic-Tac-Toe – nine orderly circles reminiscent of old childhood games

• Effervescent – a series of circles identical to bubbles in a soda pop are mixed with linear lines of diverse sizes

Fast Lane is also available in a tread with riser profile, up to six feet in length. The texture lines on Fast Lane are the same as the other Circulinity tiles, allowing this one stair tread to coordinate with all five tile patterns. Fast Lane stair treads are also available with solid color rubber, grit tape and standard Prima Marbleized inserts for treads for the visually impaired.

All five Circulinity tile patterns, Roundel tiles and treads, and Fast Lane stair tread profile are available in over 70 standard colors. The system also contains matching transitions, wall base, corner guards and stair products.
