Mohawk Completes Lees Expense Analysis

Calhoun, GA, Nov. 24–Mohawk Industries Inc. said it completed its analysis and calculation of incremental depreciation and amortization expense for fiscal 2004 in connection with its acquisition of Lees Carpet.

In a Form 8-K filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mohawk Industries said it expects incremental depreciation expense of $6.5 million and incremental amortization expense of $3.6 million.

Mohawk Industries said Nov. 11 that it completed the acquisition of Lees Carpet for $346 million.
