CalRecycle Names New Carpet Advisory Committee Members

Sacramento, CA, March 27, 2024–The Carpet Stewardship Law requires the director of CalRecycle to appoint a carpet advisory committee.

The carpet advisory committee provides recommendations to a carpet manufacturer or carpet stewardship organization and to CalRecycle on carpet stewardship plans, plan amendments, and annual reports.

New members are as follows:

* David Bender, CEO, Circular Polymers by Ascend

* Mikhail Davis, Director of Technical Sustainability, Interface  

* Rachel Palopoli, Director of Circular Economy, Tarkett  

* Russ DeLozier, President, Carpet and Rug Institute
