Distrib. Trade Sales & Manufacturer Shipments Up 0.2% in November

Washington, DC, January 17, 2024-The combined value of distributive trade sales and manufacturers’ shipments for November was estimated at $1,858.8 billion, up 0.2% from October 2023 and was up 1.0% from November 2022, the U.S. Census Bureau announced.

Manufacturers’ and trade inventories for November were estimated at an end-of-month level of $2,548.9 billion, down 0.1% from October 2023, but were up 0.4% from November 2022.

The total business inventories/sales ratio based on seasonally adjusted data at the end of November was 1.37. The November 2022 ratio was 1.38.
