Initial Jobless Claims Declined by 3,000 in Week Ending June 11

Washington, DC, June 16, 2022-In the week ending June 11, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 229,000, a decrease of 3,000 from the previous week’s revised level, according to the Department of Labor. 

The previous week’s level was revised up by 3,000 from 229,000 to 232,000. The four-week moving average was 218,500, an increase of 2,750 from the previous week’s revised average. The previous week’s average was revised up by 750 from 215,000 to 215,750.
