Employment Rose by 467K in Nov., Unemployment Steady at 4%

Washington, DC, February 4, 2022-Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 467,000 in January, and the unemployment trate was little changed at 4.0%, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. 

Employment growth continued in leisure and hospitality, in professional and business services, in retail trade, and in transportation and warehousing.
