Unemployment Claims Declined to 1.3M in First Week of July

Washington, DC, July 9, 2020-In the week ending July 4, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 1,314,000, a decrease of 99,000 from the previous week’s revised level, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. 

The previous week’s level was revised down by 14,000 from 1,427,000 to 1,413,000.
