Unilin Alleges Patent Infringement from Three Canadian Firms

Wielsbeke, Belgium, January 21, 2019-On January 15, 2019, Unilin division technologies filed three patent infringement actions against multiple companies in Canada alleging infringement of Unilin’s patents on bevel or v-groove technology and also various patents related to Unilin’s locking technology. 

The actions have been filed against Tri-S International; Floors@Work, Pacific Carpet & Flooring Inc; Missisauga Flooring Solutions, Epico Forest Products, Hardwood Giant; and a number of their related entities. The infringement claims concern imports and sales of among others, the brands Crown Craft, Naf, and Life Stepp.
