Dalton, GA, July 12, 2018-On July 10, Shaw Industries announced a price increase of 5% to 7% on residential carpet, with a minimum of $0.18, citing the escalation of raw materials.
The increase will affect orders placed on or after August 13 and shipments after August 27.
The company did not adjust freight rates, though it noted that they have continued to rise as well.
