
Washington, DC, September 26, 2017-On September 25, the Environmental Protection Agency published a final rule that extends key compliance dates of the Formaldehyde Emission Standards for Composite Wood Products, according to the Hardwood, Plywood, Veneer Association.
The new dates are as follows: emission standards, recordkeeping, and labeling, December 12, 2018; import certification, March 22, 2019; and laminated products, March 22, 2024. The end date of the transition period for CARB third party certifiers is now March 22, 2019.
