UT Knoxville Spends $140,000 on Ecore Flooring for Weight Training Facility

Knoxville, TN, June 20, 2018-The renovations for the LaPorte Strength & Conditioning Facility at the Anderson Training Center at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville cost nearly $660,000.

The renovation began in April and finished in May as UT revamps its collegiate football program to make it more competitive with its SEC competitors.

The Tennessee weight room's face lift involved installation of new flooring and equipment.

Two products from Ecore's Stacked product collection were used in the renovation: Performance Monster, a 22.5mm system, and Performance Beast, a 10.5mm system. The cost of the flooring portion of the renovation was $140,540.  

Sorinex Exercise Equipment, based in Lexington, S.C., was the project vendor.

According to Knox News, the weight room equipment and installation cost $518,769.91 so the total cost of the project was $659,309.91.
