Mohawk's Elephant Challenge Begins Today

Dalton, GA, Oct. 7, 2010--Mohawk's promotion with the Dallas Zoo to test its SmartStrand carpet begins today.

Last year, Mohawk's triexta carpet was tested by a rhino in the Birmingham Zoo. This year, six African elephants will walk on the carpet to test its durability and stain resistance.

SmartStrand triexta carpet is made with DuPont Sorona fiber.
