Mannington Raising Engineered Hardwood Prices

Salem, NJ, Nov. 19, 2012 -- Mannington Mills said it will increase prices up to 6% on all engineered wood floors effective with shipments on Dec. 17.

Mannington said that increases in log pricing, veneer costs, and transportation costs have made the increase necessary.

“We are experiencing dramatic increases in raw material pricing , which have driven our costs up to a point where passing along a price increase can no longer be avoided,” said Kim Holm, president, Residential Business.

“We continue to be optimistic about the economic recovery and the future of our industry,” Holm said.
