Home Prices Rise Nationwide in February

Irvine, CA, April 7, 2014 -- CoreLogic reported that home prices nationwide, including distressed sales, increased 12.2% in February compared to February 2013.

That represents 24 months of consecutive year-over-year increases in home prices nationally.

On a month-over-month basis, home prices nationwide, including distressed sales, increased by 0.8% in February.

Excluding distressed sales, home prices nationally increased 10.7% in February compared to a year ago and 0.9% month over month.

CoreLogic said its forecast indicates that home prices, including distressed sales, are expected to increase 10.5% year over year from March 2013.
