Haines to Exit Bravo Services Group

Glen Burnie, MD, February 20, 2018-Haines has made the decision to exit the Bravo Services group, effective April 1.

After a long relationship with Bravo, the decision to end membership in the group was based on the ability to justify the cost and time commitment needed against the initiatives and projects made available as a member and the associated return on that investment.

Bravo was established in 2000 by 12 U.S. flooring distributors-and two Canadian distributors added shortly thereafter-with the idea that with one voice they could better serve their customers by leveraging their collective strengths in sales, purchasing, operations, logistics and transportation. The consortium of distributors services 50 U.S. states and ten Canadian provinces and has over $2.0 billion in annual sales of floorcovering and related supply products.

All consortium members were distributors of Armstrong Flooring products until it was announced late last month that Armstrong was terminating its relationship with Bravo member William M. Bird and shifting that business to three other distributors, including two Bravo members, one of which is Haines.
