Flexco Publishes Two Health Product Declarations

Tuscumbia, AL, April 19, 2018-Flexco is excited to publish its first two Health Product Declarations (HPDs) for Rubber Tile & Sheet and Rubber Stair Tread products.

The Health Product Declaration Collaborative (HPDC) is a not-for-profit member organization committed to continuous improvement of the building industry’s performance through transparency, openness and innovation when reporting and specifying building products. The HPDC created the HPD Open Standard, providing a format for accurate and reliable reporting of product content and associated health information for building materials.

HPDs contribute to the requirement for Material Ingredient Disclosure in many green building rating systems including LEED v4, Living Building Challenge (LBC), WELL, Fitwel, Green Globes and Portico.

Flexco’s Rubber Tile & Sheet and Rubber Stair Treads are phthalate-free. They do not contain PVC or any chemicals listed on the International Living Future Institute’s Red List. Proudly made in America, they meet FloorScore, NSF/ANSI 332 Gold and CHPS criteria.
