Engineered Floors Offering 'Tour' of New Plant

Dalton, GA, Jan. 22, 2014 -- Engineered Floors and Dream Weaver Carpet are detailing the next phases of their growth at this year’s International Surface Event.

Among other things, the company will offer a virtual tour of its new plant, which opens in the middle of this year. The company calls it "Sam" and describes it as the largest carpet mill on a single site in the world.

“We’re in tune with the carpet consumer and making carpet people want to buy, as evidenced by the increasing demand for our products," said Gary Hollowell, vice president of sales and marketing, citing the design benefits of its Purecolor fiber.

“Since we broke ground on our first manufacturing facility in 2009, we’ve been on a steady, fast growth trajectory,” said James Lesslie, assistant to the chairman.

“In four years, we have never experienced a month that we did not have new equipment on order. Now, two plants later, as well as several expansions and a third plant on the way, it is safe to say we're the fastest growing carpet manufacturer in the world."
