Bob Shaw Inducted into Junior Achievement Hall of Fame

Dalton, GA, March 14, 2018-Bob Shaw, founder and chairman of Engineered Floors and co-founder and former head of Shaw Industries, has been inducted into the Junior Achievement of Northwest Georgia Business Hall of Fame, according to the Dalton Daily Citizen.

The event took place in Dalton, Georgia on March 8, and Shaw was the only inductee.

Shaw, age 86, believes 2018 will be a good year for both Engineered Floors and the Carpet Industry.

In addition, the Anna Sue and Bob Shaw Foundation is funding the Anna Shaw Children’s Institute, which will provide services to children with autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and other learning and developmental disorders. The Institute is scheduled to open in 2019 and, according to Shaw, will bring 15 or 20 doctors to the area.
