Armstrong VCT Reclamation Program Wins Award

Lancaster, PA, May 9, 2014 -- Armstrong Flooring said it received the 2014 Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence, presented by the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, for its reclamation program for vinyl composition tile.

The award is the highest Pennsylvania statewide honor bestowed upon a business or organization for environmental performance and innovation.

Armstrong recycles reclaimed VCT from multiple manufacturers and recycles it into new flooring products. Since 2007, Armstrong has reclaimed and recycled over 5 million pounds of post-consumer VCT in North America and 7,000 pounds in Pennsylvania.
