U.S. Firms Win Domotex Carpet Awards

Chicago, IL, Feb. 10, 2015 -- Hannover Fairs USA said its U.S. exhibitor clients, Wool & Silk and Art Resources, received Carpet Design Awards at Domotex 2015.

Part of the Innovations@Domotex program launched in 2014, the Carpet Design Awards recognize the world’s best handmade designer rugs.

Also, as part of the Innovations program, Mannington Mills featured two of its latest floorcovering products.

Judged by a panel of carpet and design industry experts, the Carpet Design Awards cover eight categories.

Art Resources, a Los Angeles-based designer of 13,000 unique and program high-end rugs, won the Best Traditional Design category award for its “Classic Revival” collection.

Wool & Silk, a New Jersey based designer of high-end, hand-made rugs, won the Best Modern Collection award category for its “Steppe” collection.

Mannington Commercial was chosen to display its LVT flooring in the resilient floor covering category, and the firm submitted a carpet collection inspired by three cities - Nashville, Philadelphia and Seattle called Design Local in the textile floor coverings, fibers and yarns category.
