London, England, Nov. 27, 2012 -- Topps Tiles reported revenues of $284.7 million in the year to September 29, up from $281.5 million a year ago.
During the period, the company opened 13 new stores and closed eight stores.
Group operating profit rose from $22.3 million to $24.7 million.
In a statement, Topps said it had benefited from "significantly improved second half performance" with like-for-like sales up by 3.5% compared with a 5.8% reduction in the same period last year.
