Tarkett Completes IPO, Shares Trading in Europe

Paris, France, Jan. 3, 2014 -- Tarkett completed its initial public stock offering and shares debuted Nov. 22 at a price of 29 euros per share.

The price represented a market capitalization of approximately 1.8 billion euros with 63.7 million shares outstanding.

The Deconinck family holds a controlling interest of 50.10% and investment firm KKR holds 18.90% of shares. There is a public float of 28.73% of shares.

The stock was trading at slightly less than 29 euros on Jan. 3 on the Euronext exchange in Paris.
