Private Sector Employment Added 237,000 Jobs in June

Roseland, NJ, July 1, 2015—Private sector employment increased by 237,000 jobs from May to June, according to the June ADP National Employment Report, which measures the change in total nonfarm private employment each month on a seasonally-adjusted basis.

In June 2015, small businesses increased their ranks by 120,000, medium businesses by 86,000, and large businesses by 32,000.

Service-producing businesses added 225,000 jobs, while goods-producing businesses added 12,000.

By sector, professional/businesses services added 61,000; trade/transportation/utilities added 50,000; construction added 19,000; financial activities added 19,000; and manufacturing added 7,000.
