Private Sector Adds 281,000 Jobs in June

Roseland, NJ, July 2, 2014 -- Private sector employment increased by 281,000 jobs from May to June, according to the June ADP National Employment Report.

That was well ahead of expectations.

“The job market is steadily improving," said Mark Zandi, chief economist for Moody's Analytics, which contributes to the report.

"Job gains are broad based across all industries and company sizes. Judging from the job market, the economic recovery remains fully intact and is gaining momentum.”
