Personal Income Rose 0.4% in June
Washington, DC, August 3, 2015—Personal income increased $68.1 billion, or 0.4%, and disposable personal income (DPI) increased $60.6 billion, or 0.5%, in June, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
Personal consumption expenditures (PCE) increased $25.9 billion, or 0.2%.
In May, personal income increased $66.3 billion, or 0.4%, DPI increased $53.8 billion, or 0.4%, and PCE increased $90.8 billion, or 0.7%, based on revised estimates.
Real DPI increased 0.2% in June, compared with an increase of 0.1% in May.
Real PCE decreased less than 0.1%, in contrast to an increase of 0.4%.
