Syosset, NY, Aug. 6, 2012 -- Stanton Carpet Corporation, a supplier of decorative, branded carpet and custom rugs, said that Minneapolis-based Norwest Equity Partners has taken a majority position in the company.
Norwest is a middle market investment firm with nearly $5 billion in capital under management.
NEP has made its investment along with investments from Jonathan and Sy Cohen as well as other management team members.
As part of the deal, Stanton’s team will continue to lead and operate the business from its Syosset, New York and Calhoun, Georgia facilities.
NEP has been investing alongside business owners and their management teams for more than 50 years.
