Mohawk Moves Up in Newsweek's Green List

Calhoun, GA, June 11, 2014 -- Mohawk Industries placed 241st in Newsweek magazine’s fifth ranking of 500 of the largest U.S. companies.

Mohawk is the only dedicated flooring manufacturer on the list. The list ranks large, publicly traded companies. Berkshire Hathaway, which owns Shaw Industries, ranked number 431.

Mohawk ranked 314th in “Green Rankings 2012,” the last year the magazine compiled the list.

Mohawk's 2014 ranking is its highest since 2010.
