Calhoun, GA, June 20, 2012 -- Mannington Commercial said it has developed Apt – an app designed to make tablets more useful for the design, specification and client presentation process.
“Despite the increasing popularity among A+D and end users of using tablets for both product research and client presentations, there are very few tablet apps that serve the interior design process,” said Natalie Jones, vice president for brand development,
“Apt serves as a research and inspiration tool as well as client presentation resource, bringing several major functions together.”
No other tablet application allows architects, interior designers and end users to see a manufacturer’s complete line of products, order samples, reference all technical literature for all products, and create and email multiple design boards to clients, Mannington said.
The app allows users to search products across Mannington Commercial’s portfolio of flooring choices and also includes a tack board, where coordinating products can be viewed together.
