Laval, Quebec, Canada, Oct. 2, 2012 -- Kaycan said it has finalized its acquisition of Uniboard Canada.
Kaycan had previously entered into an all cash for shares deal with Uniboard's parent company Pfleiderer Canada Inc. on September 5.
The Uniboard facilities sold to Kaycan include three particleboard lines, one MDF line, five thermofused melamine lines, a resin plant and two laminate flooring lines servicing primarily the Canadian, U.S. Northeast and Mid-West U.S. markets.
Montreal-headquartered Kaycan is a private Canadian corporation focused on the North American building industry.
