Atlanta, GA, Nov. 29, 2012 -- Interface has named Guy Wesley Millner to a newly created position of managing director of military sales.
Millner, a native of Atlanta, has wedded a 26-year career in the U.S. Army, where he holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, with a successful professional background in the construction and real estate fields.
A licensed broker and commercial and residential general contractor, Millner joined John Wieland Homes soon after serving on active duty for the first Gulf War. A year later, in 1995, he started his own real estate firm, Millner Land & Development Company, which grew to over $10 million in revenue.
“The opportunities to do business with the military have multiplied as our modular carpet tile products ideally answer the government’s sustainability standards for furnishing both the residential and commercial properties owned and developed by this segment," said Wendell Hadden, vice president, Market Development.
