Waynesboro, VA, Nov. 8, 2012 -- A former Mohawk carpet backing plant is being converted into a business incubator.
West Virginia-based Allied Logistics opened the 464,000-square-foot space as the Delphine Enterprise Center, where the new owner hopes to attract firms that need to rent space for business.
Allied will now begin renovations to fit the needs of its business renters.
Mohawk opened at the plant in 1961 and at one point employed hundreds of people before closing in 2010.
