Few Signs of Inflation in March
Washington, DC, April 16, 2013 -- Core consumer inflation remained tame in March, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Core inflation rose a seasonally adjusted 0.1%, from 0.2% in February.
The Consumer Price Index, which measures inflation generally, was down 0.2%.
In the 12-months through March, consumer prices rose 1.5%, the smallest increase since July.
