Employment Trends Index Drops

New York, New York, December 11, 2012--The Conference Board's Employment Trends Index decreased slightly in November to 107.82. This marks the fourth monthly drop this year. In October, the index was at 107.84.

The index covers eight indicators from the labor markets, including Percentage of Respondents Who Say They Find "Jobs Hard to Get," Initial Claims for Unemployment Insurance, Number of Employees Hired by the Temporary-Help Industry and Ratio of Involuntarily Part-Time to All Part-Time Workers.
