Curacao Firm Develops New Locking System

Willemstad, Curacao, July 7, 2014 -- Innovations4Flooring, a technology company formed last year to supply flooring installation products, said it has developed a unique locking system for flooring.

Two new products, called TripleLock and Click4U, feature a unique drop lock installation technique for flooring panels that eliminates the need for an additional insert on the short side, the company said.

The company said it has filed patent applications for both products, but that   patents have already been granted in Europe and the U.S. for TripleLock.

TripleLock provides a drop-lock installation innovation while Click4U provides an angle system on the long side and a drop-lock on the short side, the company said. The product can be used for laminate, luxury vinyl tiles, wood plastic composite and wooden flooring panels.

Leading the company is John Rietveldt, who previously worked as global president for Tarkett. Heading up R&D is Eddy Boucké, technical founder of Berry Floors.
