Bane-Clene Founder Dies

Indianapolis, IN, March 4, 2014 -- William F. "Bill" Bane, age 86, inventor of the first truck-mounted carpet cleaning machine, died Feb. 20.

His cleaning firm, Bane-Clene, marked its 52nd year in February.
