BPS Facility Earns Gold Rating from USGBC

City of Industry, CA, Jan. 29, 2013 -- Bentley Prince Street said it has become the first carpet manufacturing facility in the country to receive a gold rating from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System for Existing Buildings.

“Earning LEED status is a monumental task in any industry, and receiving Gold for our manufacturing facility, which is over 45 years old, demonstrates that it can be done,” said Ralph Grogan, president and CEO of Bentley Prince Street.

“We hope that more manufacturers will join in our commitment to environmental responsibility.”
