Design is powerful when thoughtful choices are well executed. Today as designers our choices are limitless in the world of flooring options. Now more than ever manufacturers are pushing the limits of sustainability, materiality, scale, color and design, which is a wonderful thing for the design community.

With these endless choices comes a challenge of testing out new product and discovering how well it performs, installs and maintains over the course of a project’s lifetime. As designers we are responsible for executing a design that not only satisfies our client’s aesthetic goals but also meets the functional needs and maintains its value. Every designer has their go-to products that are tried and true and that we know look and perform well for our clients. I’m always looking to add to that go-to bucket of products in my tool kit.
