Välinge Settles Patent Disputes With Chinese Firms

Viken, Sweden, July 1, 2009--Välinge has settled its legal disputes regarding infringement on Välinge's patent rights with two Chinese laminate producers.

Välinge Innovation and laminate flooring producer Jiangsu Kentier Wood Co. have reached an agreement covering historical sales of products infringing upon Välinge patents, Välinge said.

Laminate flooring producer Jiangsu Zhongxin Desai Wood Product Co. has also reached an agreement covering historical sales of products infringing in Välinge Innovation's patents for glue-less locking systems. Desai now has the right to sub-supply products with Välinge's well known technologies to specific customers.
