Laona, WI, Sept. 25, 2012 -- Hardwood flooring mill WD Flooring said it is planning to double its workforce.
The company said it will add 58 new jobs, along with new equipment upgrades, after receiving a $750,000 business loan from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce.
The 110-year-old mill employs 55 workers.
The company says demand has shifted from solid hardwood to engineered wood and that it plans to convert one of its production buildings to produce more engineered wood.
