Wadford Named Tile Person of Year by NTCA

Jackson, MS, May 28, 2013 -- Nyle Wadford, president of Neuse Tile Service in Youngsville, North Carolina, was recognized as Tile Person of the Year by the National Tile Contractors Association at its annual awards ceremony in Atlanta this month.

The honor is bestowed annually to a tile professional who is dedicated to supporting the non-profit trade association as it serves all segments of the tile and stone industry.

Wadford’s recent work to create qualified labor specifications for the industry and his contributions to the growth of the organization were cited among his many accomplishments when he was presented the award by previous recipient James Woelfel of ArtCraft Granite, Marble & Tile in Phoenix.

During Wadford's tenure as president of the NTCA, the organization experienced record growth in membership, expansion of the Partners for Success program, formation of a partnership with Tile Contractors Association of America, and  expansion of the NTCA's Five-Star Contractor Program.

Wadford continues to serve on NTCA’s Technical Committee and to represent the organization on the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) Handbook Committee, as well as serve on the ANSI ASC 108 Committee, making Neuse Tile Service one of two contractors worldwide to sit on all three committees.
