WONZ To Show New Fiber Technology at Surfaces

Marietta, GA, Jan. 6, 2015 -- Wools of New Zealand said it will exhibit rugs colored with gold to introduce a new fiber technology at Surfaces 2015 Jan. 20-23.

"This is a new innovation in wool yarn. We are calling this proprietary process the Aulana brand," says Hallie Cobb, of Wools of New Zealand.

"These rugs are a unique blend of precious metal and natural fiber to create an exclusive textile."

The company said the science of the Aulana technology comes from the early alchemical processes used to create the color in stained glass windows of gothic cathedrals.
