WA State Floor Covering Assoc. Has New Name

Kirkland, WA, July 8, 2013 -- The Washington State Floor Covering Association has changed its name to the Flooring Association Northwest, partly to reflect the group's regional service.

In addition, the association said it wanted to project “who we are” at the beginning of the name, and clear up any confusion with the World Floor Covering Association, which had a similar acronym.

Both the mission and vision statements have also been updated.

Mission Statement: Raising the floor on standards, relationships and profitability

Vision Statement: The place for all flooring professionals.
