Välinge Unveils New Digital Printing Technology

Viken, Sweden, Jan. 29, 2012 -- Välinge said it has developed a new digital printing technology that combines the advantages of the ink jet non-contact method with the advantages of dry pigment application used in laser printing.

The company said the new printing technology makes it possible to apply large amounts of pigment coated particles, so called “dry ink,” and to bond the particles in well defined patterns with a water based transparent binder that does not include any pigments, so called “blank ink.”
