Vinnie Virga Assumes Controlling Interest of Big Bob's Flooring

Kansas City, KA, January 14, 2016—Vinnie Virga has taken over the executive management of Big Bob’s Flooring after purchasing a controlling interest in the organization.

Virga began his career in the flooring industry as a district manager with New York Carpet World and, following stints at Shaw Industries, ProSource and Carpet One, stepped in as president of Flooring America and then as president of CCA Global Partners Retail Groups.

In 2011, Virga left CCA and signed on with Big Bob’s with plans to open a minimum of 17 new stores in the New England and upstate New York area, making him the largest franchisee in the Big Bob’s group.

Founded in 1984 in Kansas City, Big Bob’s has grown as a national franchise chain to more than 50 locations nationwide. Big Bob founder David Elyachar, known as Big Bob, will stay on as chairman emeritus and will continue starring in the franchise’s commercials.
