Unilin-Windmöller's Patent Confirmed on Appeal

Dallas, TX--February 27, 2015--On February 24, the Board of Appeal confirmed the validity of Windmöller's patent, overturning the previous negative decision. No further appeal is possible.

The patent has a broad scope of protection, which can be described as a layered click LVT plank made out of PVC, between 4mm and 8mm thickness. Similar patent protection is already granted in the U.S.
