Uniboard Says North Carolina Plant Nearly Ready

Laval, Quebec, Nov. 18, 2009--Uniboard said its newest mill in Moncure, N.C. will be ready for production in a few weeks.

It said the facility is 96% complete and should start production this quarter.

"With finishing touches being put to the Monure plant, we anxiously await the start-up of our new facility," says James Hogg, CEO of Uniboard.

"Our targets have been matched to begin manufacturing so we may better service our U.S. customers."

Uniboard's said the plant would be North America's first true one-stop shop megasite.
